Executive Hurdles Recruitment is partnering with a growing Manchester-based e-commerce organisation to appoint a dynamic, strategic, and AI-enabled Marketing Manager. This is a high-impact role for a marketer who wants to lead multi-channel strategy, own commercial outcomes, and leverage modern AI tools to amplify performance.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

Develop and deliver a marketing strategy aligned with commercial objectives.

Lead and optimise multi-channel campaigns with clear KPIs: SEO growth, lead generation, conversions, engagement on marketplace and direct e-commerce channels.

Manage and mentor team members, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
Digital & AI-Enabled Marketing
-
Oversee SEO, Google Ads, email marketing, paid social, and content campaigns.

Use AI tools for content creation, analytics, optimisation, and workflow automation.
-
Apply data-driven insights to enhance marketing performance and ROI.
Content & Creative Management
-
Lead website updates, copywriting, and creative production using WordPress, Canva AI, Adobe Suite.

Maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

Test new content formats (video, interactive, AI-generated, repurposed content).
Performance Analysis & Optimisation
-
Track and analyse KPIs using GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Hotjar and AI dashboards.

Run data-led A/B tests and implement AI-assisted performance optimisation.

Report on commercial impact, linking marketing activities to revenue and pipeline.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with sales and leadership teams to support pipeline and commercial growth.

Manage campaigns, budgets, and timelines with strong organisation and transparency.
Who You Are
-
5+ years in marketing management, ideally in B2B, marketplace e-commerce or multi-channel environments.

Skilled in SEO, Google Ads, email marketing, analytics, and content strategy.

Confident using AI tools for copywriting, automation, and data interpretation.

Creative storyteller with strong copywriting and brand management experience.

Strategic, data-driven, organised, and comfortable leading a small team.
