​

Both roles sit within a major technology modernisation programme at a firm managing several billion in assets across the UK. Operating with an entrepreneurial, high-conviction culture, this is a business investing significantly in next-generation technology — and these are high-visibility appointments at the heart of that investment.

 

The Roles

 

AI Product Lead

  • Salary: £80,000 – £100,000

  • Type: Permanent, Hybrid | London

  • Lead the discovery, design and deployment of agentic AI workflows across core front-to-back business functions — bridging enterprise strategy and hands-on execution within a highly regulated, high-touch financial environment

 

Senior Platform Engineer

  • Salary: £80,000 – £110,000

  • Type: Permanent, Hybrid | London

  • Drive the technical design, evolution and automation of the firm's enterprise Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes platform ecosystem — significant technical ownership within a senior, high-impact mandate

 

Role 1 — AI Product Lead

 

What the role involves:

  • Collaborate with business heads, investment teams and operational units to identify high-impact AI opportunities

  • Own AI use cases end-to-end — from problem framing and prototyping through to production rollout and optimisation

  • Design and deploy agentic AI workflows and automated systems tailored to private wealth processes, compliance requirements and operational constraints

  • Facilitate discovery workshops and translate complex business challenges into clear technical specifications

  • Monitor agent performance, user adoption and ROI post-launch — establishing reusable patterns and guardrails across the firm

 

What we are looking for:

  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing LLM-driven workflows, agentic tool orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), guardrails and human-in-the-loop controls — essential

  • Proven track record operating between commercial stakeholders and technical engineering environments

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills in English — additional European languages (German) a plus

  • Prior exposure to Private Banking, Wealth Management or wider Financial Services — highly desirable

  • Working knowledge of enterprise security, cloud integration, data governance and regulatory compliance in banking

 

Role 2 — Senior Platform Engineer

 

What the role involves:

  • Serve as hands-on technical lead within the Platform & Infrastructure practice — driving execution of the firm's enterprise cloud and platform roadmap

  • Design, provision and maintain a resilient, secure and scalable Azure cloud estate across compute, networking, storage, identity and governance

  • Architect and optimise enterprise CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure delivery using GitLab, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps-aligned release patterns

  • Establish reusable platform components, reference architectures and golden paths to accelerate application delivery within strict regulatory baselines

  • Drive observability and operational resilience initiatives across the platform estate

 

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated track record in a Senior Platform, Infrastructure or Cloud Engineering role — financial services or regulated enterprise environment strongly preferred

  • Deep practical mastery of Microsoft Azure — core infrastructure, IAM/Entra ID, network security, landing zones and cloud governance — essential

  • Advanced Terraform capability with proven ability to build clean, modular, reusable IaC templates — essential

  • Solid hands-on proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm — essential

  • Production experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation using GitLab CI or comparable platforms

  • Strong shell automation (PowerShell, Bash) and practical coding capability in Python or Go

  • Experience with observability tooling: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana or equivalent
