About the Role:
Executive Hurdles Recruitment is partnering with an established children’s residential care provider to appoint a Registered Manager for a stable, well-performing home in Wiltshire.
​
This is a rare opportunity to take the lead in an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ home that is not in crisis, but already on a structured and supported journey toward ‘Outstanding’.

Package:
Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 (depending on experience)
Relocation Support: Available

Location:
Wiltshire (Full-time, on-site leadership role)
The Role:
Lead and manage a residential children’s home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Inspire, mentor, and develop a stable and committed staff team
Drive high standards of care through effective implementation of individualised care plans
Oversee day-to-day operations including staffing, rotas, and budgets
Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and safeguarding standards
Conduct audits, quality assurance, and continuous service improvements
Build strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager within the last 5 years
Proven experience within an EBD residential setting
Strong working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
Qualifications:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
