Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Bonus / Commission (DOE)

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor (10+ years PQE) to lead and further develop the firm’s Private Client offering. This is a key strategic hire, offering the opportunity to take ownership of an established, successful practice, manage a small team, and play a central role in the firm’s continued expansion. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a small, dedicated Private Client team

  • Handle a diverse caseload of high-value, non-contentious Private Client matters, including:

    • Wills and estate planning

    • Trust creation and administration

    • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)

    • Inheritance tax and succession planning

  • Work closely with the Corporate & Commercial team to support business owners, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals

  • Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the Private Client department

  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent client service at all times

 

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with 10+ years' PQE in Private Client law

  • Strong technical expertise across a broad range of non-contentious Private Client matters

  • Experience managing or supervising a team

  • Commercially astute with the ability to build and nurture client relationships

  • STEP qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential

  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a strong desire to contribute to the firm's strategic direction
