About the Role
We are working with a high-growth business to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their expanding commercial team.
​
This is a pure new business role, focused on winning new logos and driving revenue through proactive outbound sales. The position is primarily phone-based, with additional client interaction via Teams and occasional attendance at industry events.
​
This is a fast-paced, high-performance environment suited to individuals who thrive on activity, consistency, and results. You will be responsible for identifying demand, engaging prospects, and converting them into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities
Generate new business through high-volume outbound activity (cold and warm calling)
Build and manage a consistent and structured sales pipeline
Identify and target hiring companies using job boards, LinkedIn, and data tools
Map key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organisations
Conduct discovery calls and effectively qualify opportunities
Convert prospects into clients and secure new business wins
Own and manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to signed agreements
Negotiate commercial terms, fees, and exclusivity agreements
Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams to ensure successful client onboarding
Build and maintain long-term, trust-based client relationships
Represent the business professionally across calls, virtual meetings, and events

Performance Expectations
Target of a minimum of 2 new client (logo) wins per week
Consistent outbound activity and pipeline generation
Strong conversion rates from opportunity to signed business to live roles
Operate with pace, discipline, and consistency in a target-driven environment
About You
Proven experience in a business development or outbound sales role
Strong track record of winning new business and generating revenue
Experience within tech or B2B sales is advantageous
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly organised with strong pipeline management capability
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
