About the Opportunity
Executive Hurdles Recruitment is supporting a globally recognised luxury hospitality brand seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join their People & Culture team in Ascot.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate L&D professional to play a key role in developing talent, enhancing employee capability, and supporting the delivery of exceptional guest experiences across a prestigious hospitality environment.
The role combines learning and development leadership with wider People & Culture support responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy both strategic training delivery and hands-on people engagement.
This opportunity would suit candidates with previous hospitality L&D experience and a strong passion for employee development, coaching, and talent progression.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all Learning & Development initiatives across the business
Design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes aligned to company values and operational standards
Manage induction programmes, leadership development, and departmental training initiatives
Coach and mentor departmental trainers to support ongoing capability development
Manage graduate, trainee, and apprenticeship programmes
Maintain training records, HR systems, and learning platforms
Support onboarding, employee engagement, and wider People & Culture activities
Ensure training delivery supports exceptional guest service standards
Support a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and development
Required Skills & Experience
Essential: Previous Learning & Development experience within the hospitality sector
Experience delivering training programmes across all employee levels
Strong coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
High level of computer literacy and confidence managing HR systems and learning platforms
Passion for people development and employee engagement
CIPD qualified, ideally with L&D specialism
Willingness to support weekend working requirements where required
