Salary: £50,000 + Fee Share (DOE)

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a solicitor with 2-3 years PQE, looking to build their career in non-contentious company/commercial law and join a growing, client-focused firm.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Commercial Solicitor with 2-3 years PQE to join an expanding team and manage a broad range of non-contentious commercial matters. The role provides significant responsibility, with opportunities to build strong relationships with clients, develop expertise in key commercial areas, and contribute to the firm’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied and interesting caseload of non-contentious commercial matters, including:

    • Commercial contracts and agreements

    • Company law, including shareholder agreements and corporate governance

    • Intellectual property and data protection

    • General business advisory

  • Provide practical, client-focused advice to SMEs, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients across diverse sectors

  • Work closely with the wider Corporate & Commercial team to support clients on their business and transactional needs

  • Assist in business development activities, including maintaining client relationships and expanding the firm’s commercial practice

  • Collaborate with senior members of the team on more complex matters, gaining exposure to high-level commercial work

  • Play an active role in contributing to the firm’s growth strategy and supporting team members

 

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-3 years PQE in non-contentious commercial law

  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, company law, and intellectual property

  • Client-focused with the ability to build strong working relationships

  • Commercially astute and proactive, with an interest in developing your career in a growing firm

  • Experience of working independently and managing your own caseload

  • Keen to contribute to business development and the firm’s wider growth plans

  • Experience in or a strong desire to work with business owners and SMEs
