About the Opportunity
Executive Hurdles Recruitment is supporting an innovative MedTech business entering an exciting commercial growth phase following the successful development of a clinically validated wearable ECG monitoring solution.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially driven cardiology or cardiac device sales professional to join an early-stage business bringing life-changing cardiac monitoring technology to market across NHS and private healthcare settings.

Working directly with the founders and clinical team, you will lead commercial activity, secure pilot programmes, build strategic healthcare relationships, and help shape the company’s go-to-market strategy from the ground up.
This opportunity would suit individuals with direct experience selling cardiology, ECG, cardiac monitoring, or medical device solutions into healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities across NHS trusts, private healthcare providers, clinics, and insurers
Build relationships with cardiology departments, clinicians, procurement teams, and senior healthcare stakeholders
Lead consultative sales conversations from first engagement through to pilot programme and commercial agreement
Support and manage pilot programmes demonstrating both clinical and commercial value
Help shape commercial strategy, messaging, positioning, and pricing
Identify strategic healthcare and digital health partnerships
Represent the business at healthcare conferences and industry events
Provide market feedback and commercial insight to leadership and product teams
Required Skills & Experience
Essential: Direct experience selling cardiology, cardiac monitoring, ECG, or medical device solutions into healthcare environments
Strong understanding of NHS and/or private healthcare buying processes
Proven ability to engage clinicians, cardiology departments, procurement teams, and senior healthcare stakeholders
Track record of generating new business and managing complex consultative sales cycles
Commercially driven with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Highly Desirable
Experience with wearable cardiac monitoring or remote patient monitoring solutions
Background with organisations such as iRhythm, Medtronic, Philips, GE Healthcare, Abbott, or similar cardiology-focused businesses
Experience managing pilot programmes, proof-of-concept projects, or NHS evaluations
Previous experience within an early-stage or high-growth MedTech business
