About the Opportunity
Executivee Hurdles is delighted to be partner with a well-established and growing engineering and manufacturing business in the appointment of a Group Operations Manager to lead operations across multiple business units.
This is a senior leadership role within a fast-paced, high-spec manufacturing environment supplying products into the Oil & Gas sector.

The successful candidate will drive operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement while supporting long-term business growth.

This opportunity would suit an experienced operations leader from an engineering or manufacturing background who thrives in complex operational environments and enjoys leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Lead day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities across multiple sites, ensuring performance, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Performance Management
Drive delivery against safety, quality, production, cost, and schedule objectives across the group.
Continuous Improvement
Support and lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and operational performance.
Health & Safety
Promote and maintain a strong HSE culture while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
Manage operational budgets, support forecasting activities, and work closely with finance and commercial teams on reporting and cost control.
Business Support
Provide operational input into tenders, bids, and project mobilisation activities to support business growth.
Team Leadership
Develop, mentor, and support operational management teams across the business.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Skills & Experience

Senior operations leadership experience within engineering or manufacturing

Experience managing multi-site or complex operational environments

Strong leadership and people management capability

Excellent understanding of HSE standards and operational compliance

Commercial awareness with experience managing operational budgets and costs

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Hands-on and proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

Experience within high-spec engineering, industrial manufacturing, or Oil & Gas environments would be advantageous
